I. Welcome to London.

Darkness. The room was covered only by the pale light of a few candles, which in a small extent allowed for safe movement around the old cottage. It belonged to a married couple, Mrs. Noah and Mr. Sela, whose old age did not allow any escape from this place. The house where their children and grandchildren grew up gave the impression of asylum - they wanted to stay in it even if they were to die of hunger or fear.

However, they were not alone. At the time the United Kingdom was still absorbed by the virus, five of people desperately seeking escape escaped into their home. Jacob, a handsome dark-skinned man who cared only for his own interest. Silent and eternally frightened Karen and her boyfriend Nate. And another, young couple - Kurenai and Yamato.

***

— What are you cooking today? - The man's whisper, at which her sense of security grew and went beyond the general norm made her eyelids narrowed and took air into her lungs. His hands rested on her delicate shoulders as he stood right behind her, and dug his nose into her long black hair which waves were dragged over the left shoulder. — Kurenai, honey?
She tilted her head to the side as the brown-haired man hugged her and put his beard on her nape to kiss her neck after a moment. She did not stop the mixing of the food, whose uniform color resembled incredibly thick tomato soup. Mechanically, she circled the wheels with a wooden spoon, making sure that the food would not burn. Yamato moved away from his beloved, took up matches and a candle. He drove through the sulfur end of the matches on a matchbox, and a small flame burst forth between them, providing a peculiar smell to their nostrils. He put down the lit lantern next to the stove. He looked into her eyes, whose pupils almost disappeared… Until he was married to her, heterochromia was not unusual for him… Now he could not take his eyes off those colored irises.
— Your favourite dish… - Her melodic voice was anxiety. The man was used to the fact that she lived in constant fear. Today, however, he suspected what she was thinking again.
— Again? - He snorted cheerfully. He grabbed a few fragments of the chopped table and threw it into the fireplace, making sure that the fire in the kitchen stove did not expire.
— This is the last one - she replied quietly, looking down at the empty metal can, whose label had faded to such an extent that it was impossible to see what content really was. The expiration date was not so important, the situation did not allow to be disgusted.
— There are no tomatoes anymore? - He muttered, smiling under his nose. — What a pity… Believe me or not, but this shit really tasted for me! - He opened the cabinet over the sink and looked around inside. — We still have green peas! Expiration daaaaate… Five years. - He closed the wooden sash and looked at the brunette. — Would you like wine?
— With pleasure. - She gave him a look and a smile. Every way was good to chill out somehow when you were aware of what was going on outside… Even if you did not want to, your thoughts focused on how quickly they would get you when you left the house.
— Heeey - Yamato murmured, returning to the kitchen with a bottle of liquor, which he lit with a candle — We're lucky, it's not sour. - He removed the wine opener from the hanger and began to fight it. — Good vintage.
You did not have to think for a long time that there was something wrong with Kurenai. Her eyes were half-open, which with sadness and sentiment were looking at a photo framed in a beautiful, patterned frame. She still dispassionately stirred the dinner, to which the rest of the household was coming, to a large living room, located in the center of the building. Yamato could never pass by her indifferently when she was in that condition. Especially now that he knew the reason for her sadness. The picture showed the hosts and their smiling grandchildren.
— Do you hold on? - he whispered when she put her hands on the table top. She lowered her head and sighed loudly. — Honey?
— Yes - she replied, raising her head vigorously. She blinked her eyelids several times to accidentally prevent tears and biting her lower lip. — It’s alright. - She smiled at him. His face, however, painted a strange grimace, indicating that he did not believe her at all. She took a deep breath, turned off the gas in the oven and turned to face him. — Nothing really is fine, Yamato. Everything fucked up. We're rotting here in this hole, not even able to see the sun. All windows and doors are boarded up, stuffed with rags, so that this shit will not feel us by accident. We can not laugh because they will hear us… We can not do anything; we live like slaves, because bloodthirsty beasts are running all over the country! She clenched her fists and large glass peas poured down her cheeks. The man drew her to him and hugged her tightly, feeling his throat squeeze to cry. — Yamato… I can not think rationally knowing that our children are so far away… Shiro… Tanja… I would like to see them so much… Hear, hug… God, Yamato! - She clenched her fingers on the material of his sweatshirt and squeezed her nose at her. — Tell me… Tell me please, are our children safe? Are they all right?
— Yes, I’m sure… he whispered, stroking her hair. She sobbed quietly, but his arms made her feel a little better. He waited for her to stop crying and calm her down. Finally, she pulled her face away from his chest and wiped her cheeks, wet with tears, with the sleeve of a gray sweater. — It's good that we managed to pay for this trip…
— Yes… - she gasped quietly. — Fortunately… We managed to send them there… Can you imagine what would happen if we did not? - She sniffled.
— I do not even want to imagine it, Kurenai… - He looked into her eyes. — Listen, stop worrying. Think about it. They're safe, they're in a place where the whole crap will not reach them, do you understand?
— I understand…
— Well. - He smiled weakly. — Don’t think about it anymore… Cutie. - He grabbed her chin when she wanted to drop her eyes. He closed his eyes and put his lips close to her lips. He touched them gently, and he felt the woman tremble. He pressed her harder to himself again with the intention of deepening the kiss, but they could not forget that they were not alone here.
— Do I not bother? - The older woman's voice made Yamato jump back from his wife.
— No, no… - Tenzou smiled sheepishly. They moved away from each other. He nervously started trying to put his hands into his pants pocket, but when he saw the wine waiting for them, he grabbed the bottle. Kurenai spun around herself and grabbed some rag. — Something happened?
— I found this in the basement. I completely forgot about them! - Noah held out her hands holding a dusty box of chocolates. — We could eat them after dinner, right? - she smiled tenderly.
— Sure - they replied simultaneously.

***
— It smells beautiful! - Sel was delighted. He picked up the pot from Kurenai with a meal and put it in the middle of the table.
Yamato entered the living room with wine and looked around for the glass case. His wife sat down at the table with Noah and started to talk about something. Jacob lay on the couch, reading some newspaper once again. Tenzou, instructed by the host, pulled a set of glasses from the cupboard and placed them on the table, handing the oldest man wine and taking his seat next to his beloved.
— I feel here… - began the old man, sniffing over the bottle's neck — blackberries! Vanilla… Autumn accents! - He laughed happily.
Kurenai's watchful eyes moved to the stairs, just behind the couch, from which Jacob finally rose. She wanted after them the youngest resident of this house - Karen. Wrapped in a blanket, disheveled. She had swollen eyes and red lips, covered with scabs from the constant, nervous biting of them. She looked like a wreck of a man. Brunette did not sympathize with her because of her recklessness and childhood mentality… However, she could not be rude to her.
— Jacob - murmured Noah, handing the boy a bowl with his portion. He accepted her politely and sat down in his seat. — Karen - she added after a moment, doing the same.
The rest who have already eaten their meal - broke off their activity and looked at themselves with a strange distaste. The blonde put the bowl in place next to her and waited for one more portion, for herself.
— Karen? - Sel wanted to try politely to get out of the situation.
— He will be hungry. - The blonde literally choked on these words. She was running with a strange madness in her eyes around the room and the gathered people. — He will be hungry when he returns, let us leave him a little…
— And the same again - snarled dark-skinned.
— Jacob… - Kurenai whispered, feeling in her bones what will begin. — Jacob, stop.
— Let me, fucking explain something to you! - The boy threw a spoon on the table and jumped up, knocking the chair over. He turned to the youngest. — Your loved man washed out of here about five days ago! If he's still alive, he will not come back here anymore! But you are right, but if he does, he will be very hungry!
— Jacob! - Noah shouted.
— But he won't want to eat pasta, but your blood!
— Stop talking like that! - The blonde screamed. — Stop!
— Understand, girl that he is already one of them and your fucking memory of him will not give him a normal life!
— Jacob, stop it, damn it! - Yamato punched the table with his fist. — It really is not the best time for arguments and such talks! Have a heart, man!
— Man, we all know that it is like that. The sooner this idiot understands this, the better for us and for her! - he shouted and looked again at the tearful Karen. — Nobody else survived… - He hissed. — We're just here and they are outside, understand?!
— Yamato… - Kurenai whispered, wrinkling her forehead and putting a hand on his shoulder. — Do you hear?
— Let me in, please! Help me!
— Nate! - Karen roared.
— Yamato, it's some boy! - Brunette got to her feet quickly and wanted to rush to the door, in which someone very desperately hitting.
— I'm begging you, let me in! Please! - The high-pitched voice of the child frightened everyone, but no one but the woman was able to react. The fear was very paralyzing, since it all began.
— Yamato!
— You do not know who it is… - He whispered, clenching his hand at her wrist.
— It’s a child! - Her shaky voice made him finally react like a human.
— Damn it… - He swore and stood up. He hurried to the door, still listening to the call of the intruder. His wife immediately followed him. He grabbed Sela's golf club and began to drop the boards securing the entrance. The noise behind the doors still lasted.
Yamato grabbed the handle cursing the kid in his mind - he pulled after her. At first he had the impression that he got blind. Just like his beloved one who is right behind him. Daily light fell into this house for the first time in a week. Glaring rays made the whole body numb… And the entrance? A terrified boy stood in him, unable to step forward, seeing the man holding a stick over his head.
— Quickly! - Tenzou regained his sobriety of mind only after a moment. — Come in, fast!
The child ran into the house straight into Kurenai's arms. He burrowed into her, panting with fatigue, shivering in the cold and weeping probably from happiness. He smelled. He smelled. He smelled of dirt, sweat… and death. Only this could be felt outside.
Yamato slammed the door and quickly put the wooden elements back on. He felt his heart throat. He dropped the stick to the ground and dropped his back against the wall, trying to catch his breath. He looked at his wife, who still hugged the child and glanced at him in horror.
— Are you alright? - She whispered to the child.
In answer, he only nodded vigorously.

— Everything is ok? - Noah asked, handing the boy a bowl with a warm dinner. — Eat fast, you're so skinny.
Young one did not even think about grabbing a fork. He pressed with his hands pasta to his mouth, and he ate at such a pace that he was almost choking. He was still shaking. Everyone looked at each other in horror and disbelief. Strong, grown-up people could not survive, so how did he succeed?
— Where are you from? - Tenzou murmured, drinking a glass of wine at once.
— Sandford - he muttered, not interrupting the absorption of his meal. Brown-haired man looked questioningly at the host.
— Sandford is on the river, a few miles from here… - Sel scratched his chin with a deep intention, but after a while he moved his gaze back to the boy. — How did you get here?
— They chased me, shouted… - He whispered, scratching the remains of the sauce with his fingers, the rest on the bottom of the dish. — I was scared… I ran ahead of myself.
The residents of the house again exchanged themselves with restless eyes. Kurenai noticed Karen rising and going to the door the boy had just stepped through. She stood by them and pulled one of the cloths out of between the boards, then peered out through the crack. She was perfectly aware of how much the girl must have been disappointed when there was a substitute for the hope that it was her boyfriend.
— I tried to get everywhere, but all the houses were closed… - The child continued his story. — I ran through the forest… And then along the river, until I found myself here.
— Who chased you? - Jacob drew his eyebrows and looked over his shoulder at the young, annoying blonde.
— My mom, dad… - The boy looked into the eyes of the brunette. — They wanted to kill me. - The woman straightened up and slightly opened her lips, wanting to say anything that could comfort him… However, she did not have a real idea. — There are others.
— How many? - Yamato glared at the newcomer, finally putting the glass down on the table.
— Hundreds… - The little man looked at him. — If not thousands.
— Nate? - Karen's voice, still looking outside, drew everyone's attention to the door.
Only a pair of eyes appeared in the crack, the proteins of which were colored in a ruby color. After a moment, one of the boards was broken off, its remains like splinter spilled on the ground and a hand slipped into the apartment, stained with blood and mud. After a while, she grabbed the blonde's shoulder and pulled her hard, causing the body to hit the door with such force that the rest of the security also lost any fastening.
— Karen! - Yelled panicked Noah.
— He holds my hand! HELP! - She roared as dirty teeth dug into her skin. The scream of pain that she gave out was terribly frightening. — Help me!
— Jacob! Yamato jerked to his feet and grabbed another stick from the bag. — Take them away from here! Flee, immediately!
— Yamato! - The scream of his wife made him hesitate. He stood in place and looked at her. — Yamato please!
— Kurenai, run with them! - He roared a moment after he shook his head. — Now!
The woman had no idea what to do, but her beloved urged her nervously. She had to believe he would manage and then join them.
— Hold on to me! - She shouted to the child and pulled him after the rest.
They, however, were too far away. They flew out through the back entrance, running straight through the corridor. Brunette wanted to lead the kid that way, but he froze away from her and instead of running straight - he turned left and dashed up the stairs.
— No! Not like that! - She shouted, running after him. — Come back!
— Kurenai! - The brown-haired man felt fear when the woman's screams reached him. He did not step back, however, only flew to the door under which the blonde lay. He did not need much time to notice that she had been bitten. The piece of meat was brutally detached from her forearm, from which the blood were coming out like from a tiny volcano. His eyes glided at her closed eyelids, which were trembling. He could not even think normally about what he will have to do soon… He did not pay attention to the incompletely clad four arms that were destroying the house's entrance at an express speed. He frowned as her eyebrows quivered… After a moment, eyes — once beautiful, blue — opened up energetically and he choked with air. — Karen…
Nothing has changed since their last contact with the infected… Twenty seconds passed, and his companion was already one of them. The eye proteins came with maroon liquid, and from the chapped lips the foam literally spilled out. She began to throw herself on the floor like a man with epilepsy, wheezing and choking on her own secretions. She struck the back of her head with neat tiles, her fingers bent in all directions. He knew what her purpose was when she stopped motionless, watching him. She broke her back from the ground, but before she tried to get back on her feet, he kicked her in the face. When she clung to the floor again, not thinking much, he swung his stick and with all possible strength - he hit him on her head. Once, second, third… Her skin slithered with each passing moment, and the blood splashed in all directions.
— I’m sorry! - He roared the last blow. She did not move anymore… So what, if there were already two others in the house, furiously fast and… Hungry for killing? Yamato began his fight to slow them down and his own life.
One of them, completely naked, got to Karen's body in the hope of fresh, human and healthy meat. Tenzou knew it was no help. They were able to recognize if someone was infected or not. It was not a zombie apocalypse that he had seen on television hundreds of times. They were not slow, they did not stand still, they did not do anything that did not make sense. On the contrary. They were characterized by incredible speed, aggression and most importantly - the goal. They had it. It was every human.
— Eat this! - He yelled, hitting the stomach with a stick the woman who was wearing the remains of a white dress and was running in the direction of him. Rotting ribs snapped, but it did not stop her. She was still charging toward him. She drove him into a corner, but he made the attack again, this time from. above, and smashed her skull. Destruction of the brain or its remains was the only way to finish this shit.
The nudist broke away from Karen's dead body, or rather what she had once been and headed for him. The brown-haired man had to stretch and bend to avoid being infected, but after a while he managed to defeat him. The stick fell out of his hands as he slammed his shoulder against the door frame while trying to escape.
— Fuck! - He hissed, seeing the next infected people running into the house. He did not wait for the confrontation with them anymore, but moved toward the corridor to join the rest.
— Yamato! - The wife's voice boomed in his head. — Yamato, help us! - Scream came from above.
— Kurenai, get out of there! - He yelled, clutching his sore place.
— Yamato!
— Damn it… - He put his foot on the first step. Something stopped him… A moment ago he saw several infected people running up the stairs, hearing her calls… Why could not he move? His greatest desire was to escape from here… But up there was yet his wife. — Fuck!
He rushed. His hesitation was not understandable to him. Why was this happening…?
— Kurenai, where are you? - He shouted, looking into the rooms. He eventually came to the bedroom of Sela and Noah. She stood there and vigorously looked around her. She was looking for something. She fell to her knees and looked under the bed. — Kurenai, what are you doing?!
— Help me find him; he hid! - She looked up at him, terrified, and jumped to her feet. — Where are you?! - She called again.
— Leave him, damn it! - Yamato ran to her and grabbed her by the wrist. He pulled her toward the door he came in, but she broke free, staring at the huge wardrobe. Her door was ajar, creating a few centimeters gap. Now she saw the boy hiding there. His glazed eyes gleamed with the light that came through the big windows on this floor. — Kurenai!
She jumped to the other side of the bed and opened the furniture. She pulled a kid out of him, turned on her heel and… froze.
At the moment, the biggest drawback of this room were two pairs of doors. The second led from another room, giving a free way for the four assassins. They stood between the marriage and wheezed. It would seem that they were thinking about choosing a victim. Yamato took a step back, stood in the entrance and grabbed the handle. His spasmodic breaths grew louder, and his frightened eyes focused only on his wife's colorful irises.
— Yamato! - The brunette screamed. — Please, help us! - It was clear to hear her vocal cords break from fear. She could not believe what she saw… Infected people rushed in her direction, attracted by her scream and her beloved… The man of her life, who swore love forever before God himself, just withdrew from the room. — YAMATO! - She knew that horror was unpredictable. You have no idea how it will affect decisions that you have to make suddenly. Still, she did not understand…
— I’m sorry… - He whispered, clasping his hands on the handle.
She was not able to shout. The boy was yelling when they broke his tiny, thin body. Her lips parted in shock, and her eyes filled with tears as she read the word from the movement of his lips. He slammed the door behind him. He disappeared. He left her.

He ran into the room next to him and closed the door with a crash behind him, to which two infected people were trying to get in. He looked around the room vigorously. The only escape route was the window. He flew to him and began to struggle with him just to open it. Once he succeeded, he jumped over the low-set sill and fell on the tile. He rolled out of it to the very end of the roof, then flew down, about two and a half meters. He hit the ground, but adrenaline would not let him lie there. He jumped to his feet and began to run towards the back gate of the yard, which led to the amazingly large fields. The screams of the infected came to him as they heard the crash of the fall and followed him.
He ran as fast as he could. When he was already at the gate, he heard a strange sound behind him. Something hit the window. Hurrying ahead, he turned his head back… The pasta fell back to his throat when he saw Kurenai in the second big window. She lived… She was still alive, she was punching the glass with her fists and calling him. She begged him to come back for her… He clenched his teeth and eyelids tightly. He turned his face in the direction he was running and tears shed his eyes. He could not see anymore, when something was taking her away from the glass…
He was still running ahead. To its right was a river, and behind it was a thick forest. On the left, the beautiful fields of the valley in which he spent the last time. He did not know what was behind the hills on which the grain grew. Perhaps even larger spaces? Or other, empty houses? But was it important? Now that a whole pack of infected people ran out from there, numbering a minimum of fifty individuals, screaming and charging straight at him?
His goal was a small jetty to which Sela's boat was attached, of which the old man often spoke. He'd already seen a small hangar, which she was behind. But it was about seventy meters from that place. Seeing how infected people fly straight at him, he denied himself and accelerated even more.
He felt a strange sense of momentary joy when it turned out that he not only he came up with the idea of using a boat. Jacob was already fighting with the rope that held the boat by the wooden shell. She had a great engine, which caused even more excitement at the thought of escape.
— Jacob! - He screamed, bumping into the jetty. — Where is Sel and Noah?!
— They did not make it - he threw on quickly. — Help me!
Yamato jumped into the boat and began to help the man with the rope. He yelled at him to hurry up. The infected ones reduced the distance with every second.
— ALREADY! - The dark-skinned man shouted, throwing the rope behind him. — Start the engine!
Panicked Tenzou began to fight the engine and pray for it to work. Jacob was just trying to jump on a boat that was already a long way from the jetty. The haste, however, caused his leg to slip from the edge of the boat and fall into the water with a bang. Yamato moved away from the engine that was already rolling.
— Jacob! - He roared, seeing the infected are already on the platform and fall into the water behind them. The dark-skinned man suddenly emerged from beneath the surface of the water and shouted, calling for help. — Give me your hand! - Yamato grabbed the attached plastic bench by the bank and with his other hand grabbed his colleague's hand. He began to pull him, however, the two infected caught him and snatched him, pulling him to them.
— Help me! Help me, fuck! - He shouted desperately. — Pull me in, do not leave me! - After a moment, however, he disappeared under the water, along with those. Brown-haired man looked around the surface of water, trying to catch his companion, but he was nowhere to be found. The infected slowly approached him, through the shallow riverbed. He did not want to leave without him, and he could not… He turned towards the house, then looked in ahead with horror in his eyes again. — Jacob!
Once again he felt the upcoming vomiting, caused by fear. The dark-skinned man caught the boat, grinned and blinked with red eyes. He screamed, choked and tried desperately to catch Tenzou by the leg. He, paralyzed by the view of the changed colleague, after a while started kicking his head and hands, in order to get him off the boat. Once he had succeeded, he moved back, threw the gear in the engine and began to circle the wheel around, screaming like a psychopath and tearing nearby enemies with the engine bolt. The remains of decaying bodies were scattered across the river and the water itself, which had turned to a ruby red.
— Fuck, fuck, fuck… - He whispered as his chest jumped from unstable breaths. He did not have anything to wait for anymore… He began to run down the river, still hearing the screams of the other infected.
He turned in the direction of the house for the last time. He looked at the window where he had last seen her. There was nothing or no one else in it anymore… He saw her, though. Desperately hitting the window… Begging for help. His wife.

A month later…
United Kingdom, London.

       — It's today! - It was heard in a small, earphone. — In the end, something starts to happen here.
A tall, well-built boy raised his rifle upwards and glanced at the source of the roar, and confusion between his companions through the optical viewfinder located on the back of the weapon. The wind stirred his blond hair and blew tired cheeks. The first passenger plane has been preparing for landing for more than two weeks on a specially prepared modernized runway.
— Welcome to London… - He smiled to himself, at the sight of the flying machine. He dropped his gun and reached into the receiver to turn on his microphone.
He was at the lowest observation point, because he spent most of his guard in the highest. He did not like changes or that he had to look at everything from below, but here he had peace. At least until time…
— Hey Naruto, you having fun down there? - The device rattled again when one of the companions laughed loudly.
— You can kiss my ass - He murmured, dropping his weapon to the ground and glancing up at the highest point.
There was a landing pad for one of the assigned helicopters, which was owned by a good friend of Uzumaki - Hatake Kakashi. A gray-haired, good-looking man, on whose nose a black bandana was always tied, hung his belly on the crash barrier and looked at his younger companion.
— This is the worst combat I ever saw. Where is the combat? - Jack let know about himself, after a moment of radio silence.
— No shit, will we ever get in fight with someone? - Dylan almost always sulked, so everyone was used to it.
— I agree. - Murmured Sam.
— And me, although my laziness already is getting out of my ass - Hatake sighed, who bounced off the balustrade, hung his head back and glanced up at the sky.
— I want to shoot something. - Naruto narrowed his left eye looking around, when the sun irritated his eyes.
— North-east of med centre - said Jack. — 20th floor, three windows in. - Uzumaki looked in a given direction through the visor, but before he came to the place, he already knew that it would be another idiot's roller. — Fat guy jerking off in the toilet.
— Bang! - Shouted Sam. — Hit and sink.
— Not this time, Sammy.
— How so?!
— He is indestructible. He is renewing after forty-five seconds… I also saw him yesterday - Jack stammered.
— Like children… - Kakashi said. - When will you grow up?
— Oh, there he is! - Dylan shouted.
— Where?!
— I don’t see him. Where is Fester Fucknut? I am asking for coordinates.
— Your boyfriend?
— Fuck off, I will fucking shoot you right away.
— Okay, I've already found. His dick in his hand on the 20th floor. The fourth window from the right.
— What a son of a bitch. Next to the fire exit!
— Oh shit, I think he needs ajerk-off extender!
— Naruto, you are the expert in "hand-to-hand combat." He's yours, cat!
— Man-to-man combat! I bet on our blonde!
— Oh right, that's our best sniper. Naruto, show off how well you "shoot.".
— Fuck off! - Blue-eyed laughed loudly.
— Hahah, I can't - gray-haired snorted.
— Even you Brutus?!
— Hey, maybe it's one of these corpses?
— In total, we have not seen one yet…

The central airport lounge was one of the most glazed buildings available for use. The entire area, with security walls, interlocks and US guards, was equipped with such a place, despite the small space that was already available. A young woman stood at one large window imitating the wall of the building. Long pink hair ran down her shoulders to her breasts, and her deep gaze carefully watched the door of the plane that had landed ten minutes ago.
She was nervous. The first civilians, who have already been settled in the specially prepared first district, have already been here more than two months ago. The plane was flying, escorting to London to already over fifteen thousand people. Today, however, she felt that something was going on. Something that has not happened yet. But what? Her intuition was always sharpened and additionally exaggerated, but she really often hit the target.
She put her fist up to her heart as the machine door opened, making a loud, distinctive sound. She prayed that her premonition would fail today. She clenched her fingers on the military shortwave, when the first persons began to leave the bridge. Focused eyes watched every passenger… This is the thirty-sixth plane that landed here with civilians. Thirty-five previous ones brought only healthy people with themselves. Adult people.
— Damn it… - She hissed, and her juicy, green irises stuck tightly at the sight that she probably did not want to see. The presence of two people who left the deck last - that's its reason.
She took a deep breath and lifted the walkie-talkie up. A wide microphone applied to the lips… She hesitated, closed her eyes. She did not even know what to say, at the same time realizing that it was done not according to her thoughts - what she had to report as a commander of a medical unit.
— This is General Shimura.. - Scared she moved away her equipment away from the face, almost dropping it. It seemed to her that the son of a bitch read her mind at times. She sighed and let out a loud breath, closing her eyes. — What is the situation?
— Good morning, general… - She answered reluctantly, pressing the microphone button with difficulty. — I'm in the waiting room, watching people get off the plane.
— I understand major. - His rough voice made her grit her teeth. — When will you throw them on the train?
— By tomorrow, we should examine everyone - she replied, looking carefully at the previously observed two. — General, I would suggest sending residents by the series, just like the last time. They do not need additional stress in the last part of the way to a new home… The research itself is already exhausting, let the one hundred and twenty arrived do not crumble on a train destined for eighty people… Does the general agree?
— I agree, Haruno. - She rolled her eyes. — Something else?
— No.
— Roger. - She bit her lip nervously.
— Nobody has warned me that there will be children! - She raised her voice. She did not receive any answer. She cursed under her breath, dropped her hand and looked up at the sky where the sun was climbing.
She knew that a long night would await her.
