III. Puppies

— Shiro, we agreed on this. - The whisper of the young girl hiding behind the corner of the wall made an unpleasant shudder run over the boy's back. He stood next to her and waited for his sister to give him a sign.

The blonde looked out into the street to estimate the distance separating them from the fence they were about to overcome. She glanced up to locate some soldiers, but did not see any of them anywhere. She caught the young by the hand, bent down and dragged him across the street in such a position. They squatted and clung to their backs to the thick, concrete wall that separated them from the empty space above the rushing river – Tamiza.
— Do you remember what she said on the train? - She looked intently at her brother, and her blue eyes mysteriously flashed. She took a deep breath and looked over the thick balustrade, then quickly hide, seeing a sailing ship, full of patrolling nearby areas, soldiers. — Only dogs or rats could survive.
Tanja again grabbed her brother's sleeve and made him follow her. They ran towards the wire fence along the wall so that they could jump on it and climb.
— We will go home - she said through her teeth, boosting up the boy — we will take what we need and we will return.
— We could tell dad - said nervous Shiro. He watched as the sister jumped off the fence and with a slight finesses falls on the asphalt.
— It will be good, trust me. - She smiled at him, then they ran together to get out of sight of anyone as soon as possible.
Tanja was planning this plan for several evenings. She walked the streets of the district with her brother and father, not for fresh air, but for discernment. She watched sniper positions, places that they could overcome on foot. She calculated the time in which the military changed their guard. Conscious of the danger to which they would endanger, at first she would distanced the thought from her. However, the fears of her younger, beloved brother, made today, before noon, when father went shopping - they dressed and left the flat. The flair of the girl was surprising. However, she could not have foreseen what could have happened if mathematics failed.

— Where are you going? - The pupil, wrapped in a blue iris, watched the youngsters running along the main street, who seemed to be having a great time.
— London belongs to me! - shouted the boy who, running beside his sister, spread his arms like bird wings and laughed like a prisoner who had just left the prison.
— Base, pickup - whispered in a worried tone blond man, who a moment earlier pressed the button of a small microphone, placed on the ear.
— What's happening, Uzumaki? - a voice said, one of his superiors.
— Two pieces crossed the northern gate - he announced, peeking through the viewfinder again. He no longer saw any trace of the escapees.
— Two dogs?
— Rather puppies. - He sighed, taking a deep breath.

They ran as fast as they could. They had great fun, while feeling freedom. The strong impression of the ubiquitous emptiness that dominated the city made them feel a strange anxiety. However, both of them did not care. The adrenaline was taking over, the thought that some soldier could see them was knocking on their heads. Tanja knew that the return would be much harder, and only now she realized that the military could take them as an enemy target, and not thinking much, shooting them off. She regretted that way out, but when she saw her brother's growing happiness, she told herself, that she did a good thing. The consequences were not important since she could give the boy some happiness.
— Damn it - she hissed, slowing. She bit her lower lip and narrowed her eyelids until she finally stood still.
— Tan? - murmured Shiro. He stopped and stepped back to her, looking uncertainty from side to side.
— I did not think about the fact that this entire district is a much distance from our home - she noticed. She put her fingers to her temples and began massaging them while observing the ground.
The boy grew slightly sad. He crouched down and for a few moments watched the small pebble he was playing with. He suddenly drew his eyebrows as if he was remembering something. He straightened up and started looking around. He took about seven paces ahead to look out at the intersection which was a few meters ahead of them.
— Look! - he shouted, pointing to something with his finger.
The blonde came up to him and felt a strange relief at the sight of several red scooters lined up in a row. They belonged to John's pizza – the restaurant, where they ate sometimes with their parents.
— That's what we need - she said when they turned to the place they were looking at.
She went to one of the machines and touched her gently, as if she was afraid that it would soon fall apart. Then she grabbed the wheel and shook the one-wheeler. The sound of the overflowing liquid in the tank confirmed her belief that there is gasoline inside.
— It would be nice if we had the keys - Shiro sighed worriedly.
Tanja looked around scooters, to check if something might lie somewhere on the ground, but her search did not bring anything. She looked up at the pizzeria door, but something damned did not let her move from the place to enter. She was afraid, although she did not know what. Still, she clenched her teeth, aware that they had gone through too much to give up now.
— Wait here - she ordered, moving forward. — Do not move anywhere from here, do you understand?
Brother nodded to her and walked to one of the company boxes on the ground John's. He opened it with his foot and a large pizza appeared to his eyes which he could not recognize by the thick green growth that had gathered on it.
— Eeew - he said, covering his nose.
Tanja approached the entrance cautiously and peered inside through the dusty window. Seeing no danger, she thrust one wing firmly. The bell, suspended above, let the sign that she had come inside. At the first breathing she felt an unimaginably strong need to throw up breakfast. The stench that floated there was unbearable. On red, small tables that had round tops – lay plates, and on them food, or rather what happened to him. White worms fell from the dishes on the plates and from them to the floor. The buzzing of flies buzzed in head, adding disgust to everything. The girl pulled the collar of her blouse over her nose, praying in her soul that she would not vomit from the stench that resembled the smell of faeces.
It was immediately evident that this place was abandoned in a hurry. Overturned destroyed chairs; broken dishes the previously mentioned uneaten food. The windmills suspended under the ceiling moved when the gates of the pizzeria closed the access of fresh air that has entered here. Thick cobwebs surrounding the furniture – they waved at the same time, and dust fell from the shelves.
— I can do it - she whispered to herself. She had to go over the bar, and she felt that the keys would be there. She was not pleasantly surprised when she did not find them there. She looked at the door behind which the kitchen was hiding. — Please, no... - she moaned, closing her eyelids.
Without moving her hand from the face, which she still held the blouse, she came up to them and grabbed the gilded handle. She pushed the white-painted wooden rectangle and slid into the back of the restaurant. She passed several cookers, then some shelves full of dishes. The remains of glass, clay and sand crunched under her shoes. She stood in place, knowing that she had to turn right here. She could not look there. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see what she did not want to see at all. She squeezed her eyelids and she overcame herself.
— Oh fuck... - she whispered and gave a backward leap.
A corpse lay on the ground. The dried skin was marked on the skeleton, and the clothes hung on it like clothes on contemporary models. On the red polo was the company logo of the pizzeria, and the shirt itself was covered with a black leather jacket. Tanja could perfectly see the object she was looking for under the shiny material. She approached the deceased cautiously, feeling her tears come to her eyes. She leaned over and tossed back a fragment of her outer clothing with a trembling hand. She grabbed the key, but he did not want to leave the owner. She jerked him harder, which she regretted after a while. True, she was holding what she wanted in her hand... But huge cockroaches came running out of the black skin. She squealed in horror, then took her legs and ran out of the room. She grabbed a helmet from behind the bar and ran to the exit.
— Catch - she murmured, trying to calm down the tone of her voice. Shiro grabbed the hat and put it on. The older of the siblings put the key in the ignition and started the machine. — We're going. - The blond jumped behind his sister and wrapped his arms around her belly.
They moved ahead. They defeated the Thames by crossing Tower Bridge. They passed all their familiar tenements, shops, galleries, monuments, houses, cemeteries. The streets were empty; there were no animals, not even birds... The wind comforted their cheeks pleasantly, and the silence intensified fear.
Shiro followed with his eyes his school building. Memories of friends, boring lessons, school trips, learning... It all came running and made him even more long for a normal life, education, peaceful childhood. He could not believe that these times would never come back.
His thoughts dissipated the feeling of slowing down. Tanja released gas and passed dozens of broken cars. Carambol had more than forty cars. Another place that indicated in what fear and panic people left this city, this country. Young Tenzou looked carefully at the swan walking along the main street. The wilderness has taken over this part of London. Tall, untrimmed grass, shrubs. Moss, growing on all the buildings and cars. A vision of post-apocalyptic Britain, which has never been presented in such a perfect yet scary way in any film.

— Kids! I'm back! - Yamato entered the apartment and headed straight to the kitchen.
He put the grocery grid on the counter. He went to the kettle, poured water into it, and set it on burnt gas. He returned to the hallway, took off his jacket and hung it on the hanger. He slipped off his shoes and went to the bathroom. He washed his hands in warm water, then wiped them in a towel. He narrowed his eyelids without getting still any answer.
— Shiro! Tanja! - He raised his voice again in the direction of their bedroom. He opened the door with impetus and froze. After a moment, he looked around the room. — Where could they go?

***

The blond boy stood on the concrete and took off his head helmet. His sister put the scooter gently on the ground and just like the boy – she watched the building for a moment. They were standing in front of their old house, which was intact. Only the backyard required ordering, and the beloved mother's roses called for cutting. Shiro threw his headgear to the ground and ran to the pavement, then stood on the first slab of the marble path leading from the side of the street to the door itself.
— Two, four, six, eight - he calculated, vigorously jumping over two squares — ten, twelve, fourteen! - he shouted at the end. He stopped in place and turned to the right. Then he bent down and picked up a small stone. — You were here all the time, tiny - he muttered, pulling out the key to the house.
Tanja snatched a small tool from his hand and ran to the entrance. She slipped it into the hole and took air. A moment later they were already in so well known to them, the longing corridor. They walked slowly into the kitchen, watching every detail of the house. Nobody plundered it, there was no damage. It looked as if they had gone on vacation together... Long vacation.
The blonde went to the fridge covered with colorful magnets, her brother's lesson plans. She smiled faintly at the sight of the photo. They were on him all together. All four. Tenzou's happy, smiling family, nothing was missing for happiness... She shook her head and turned to Shiro, standing right behind her.
— Take it - she whispered, giving him the photograph. — Now for sure you will not forget her.
The boy looked at his mother's face and became sad. He ran a thumb over her image and sighed loudly.
— Come upstairs, take some of your stuff and we'll roll up from here. I do not want to come back in the dark - she muttered, then they both rushed to the second floor.
They got in their rooms and grabbed backpacks. The girl packed a few of her favorite shoes, a few blouses, some jewelry and other valuable items for her. The boy pulled a board game, a PSP and a collection of small dinosaurs out of the closet. He reached into the drawer at the bottom and pulled out his favorite sneakers. He put them on to his feet and hurried down to get to the back of the yard. He stood on the concrete steps, his eyes glittering like diamonds. It stood there. Intact, undamaged. Whole and healthy, covered only with a pile of leaves…
— My trampoline! - he shouted and ran towards her. He jumped on her and began to play. He bounced off her as much as possible, and he laughed loudly as the leaves rose up and fell down with him. — Tan! - he shouted, wanting to encourage his sister to play, but she did not answer. — TAN! - he repeated loudly.
Again silence answered him. He narrowed his eyes and left his favorite invention. He went back into the house and started climbing the stairs to the upper floor where their sanctuaries were.
— Tanny? - he asked quietly, already on the floor. He wanted to go to his sister's room, but he heard the noise in the attic. Without thinking, he jumped quickly up the stairs to the second floor, where the parents' bedroom was located. He felt a shiver on his back as the door to the room moved. — Are you there, Tanny?
He went inside and smelled musty. The blinds were covered, there was chaos everywhere. Various cans, plastic containers and dishes stood on the table. Shiro approached them and sniffed the air, then cleared his throat, regretting his act.
— What a stench... - he moaned. He looked around the room again, and his attention was drawn to the wall. He came closer to her and drew his eyebrows, noticing at least a few dozen pluses, scratched in a peach wallpaper. Without thinking, he knew that it looked like a countdown, but what could it be about? He extended his hand, not quite understanding what he was doing, but before it touched the scratched shell, a loud rustle distracted his attention. He glanced under the window, but he saw nothing. — Tan? Tanny, it's stupid... - he murmured.
He took a step toward that, but the chair that hit the ground with a bang made him step back.
— Tanja, I really do not like it - he snorted, breathing spasmodically — I'm not enjoying it at all... Get out of there!
As he wanted, it happened... A figure crawled out from behind the bed, but it was slightly larger than his sister's. The darkness in the room did not allow him to look closely at the intruder, who slowly began to move towards him, defeating the road on knees. Finally, the stranger's face was illuminated by bright streaks from the corridor. Two-colored iris flashed, showing a strange insanity. Chapped, bitten lips; dirty face; greasy, beaten hair; dried blood on the face. No matter, he recognized her, and his heart began to beat faster and louder. He felt blood boiling in him.
— I knew it... Mom, I knew it!
The woman jumped up from the ground and he jumped to her. They grabbed and hugged each other. He was terrified and happy at the same time. He felt tiny tears running down his cheeks. The moment of joy, however, did not last long... Anxiety broke into his mind, and his body trembled with pain. The woman began to dig into his back, unable to tame what was happening to her. She had would never see them again, and they would her. She lived here alone, frightened. She was savage, and she did not control herself.
— It hurts - he hissed. He tried to break free, from an iron grip. — You are hurting me, mom!
Crowns of trees growing around the house, began to sway heavily, and the rumor of the propeller grew louder. He stunned and bumped his head, as if he were literally there.
— Let me go! - the boy screamed.
Tanja, who was downstairs, heard him and the helicopter. She ran out into the corridor. Shiro finally got away and fell out of the room. He flew downstairs, straight into the arms of the blonde.
— Do not leave me! - the woman roared. She wanted to run after him, but she dropped to her knees. Her body was devastated, she needed immediate help.
The kids ran down and flew out in front of the house. A minimum of ten soldiers, dressed in rotten green suits and strange masks, aimed at them with weapons. A few went inside, hearing Kurenai's screams. Air currents, produced by a propeller of a helicopter hovering over them, were brushing the girls' hair in all directions. She embraced her brother and pressed firmly to herself. She looked up and saw the pilot watching her.
— Naruto, report back - he called Uzumaki on the radio.
— What's up, Kakashi? - The blonde man's tone was still full of anxiety and takeover.
— I found your puppies.
The girl's eyes dropped down and he turned with his head behind him. The view of her mother taken by the military, took her breath away.
— It's impossible... - she whispered.

Naruto, leaning against the railing, watched closely as Kakashi lands in its place. The building which he landed on was a large distance from his guard, so the gray-haired reminded him of a small worm. The man only after a moment scrambled out of the machine. The blond rolled his eyes watching as his older friend lazily stretches, until he finally stands still supports his sides and observes the panorama of London with foolish pleasure.
— Hold me... - he whispered, reaching into the earpiece with his hand. He pressed a tiny button — Kakashi, are you feeling okay?
— Perfectly - he answered, loosening his arms and going up to the balustrade. He found Uzumakie and looked at him. He pulled out a crumpled pack of Marlboro from his pocket, and one cigarette from it, supported himself with his elbows on the railing and lit. He inhaled a large amount of smoke and held it back. He clasped his hands and pressed them to his forehead, thinking about something. After a moment he let out a gray streak and looked up again at the distanced friend. — I'm fucking hungry.
— Me too - he replied, taking the weapon, which, just as he was leaning against the railing. He bounced back from the ground and hung the rifle over his right shoulder. — Get down, Dylan is already changing me.
They met at the entrance to one of the larger buildings, which was usually filled with personnel from the first district. They walked along a medium crowded corridor, looking around at the excited and distracted physicians who were running back and forth.
— Ey, what they are today been doing? - the blond murmured, a moment after he looked at the doctor, to a pain reminiscent of a mole. Obese mole.
— You do not know anything? - asked, as if casually, Hatake. He watched the road in front of him, holding one hand in the pocket of the militants and the other holding the belt of weapons hanging from his back. — Your puppies.
— What about them? - The boy looked at his friend with interest. He opened his eyes wider, in which fear suddenly appeared — Do not just tell me they caught this thing!
— No! - he snorted, laughing. — With them all right... Although I do not know who normally leaves the safe walls, exposing himself to a meeting with this shit. God knows if this thing has become smarter and is not hiding somewhere.
— The island is too big to be explored so quickly... - noticed the blond, putting his weapon away, before entering the huge canteen. — It will take years before the United Kingdom can start functioning again.
— Well - Kakashi said, pushing the glass door.
The room was unbelievably spacious and carried a strange echo of dozens of interlocutors. Everything was covered with a warm orange glow that fell through a large wall created by the windows. Over half of the tables were occupied by soldiers, paramedics and other employees.
— Returning to your question, these kids have discovered something. - The man looked around for a free seat, then stared at the short queue. He went that way, and Naruto quickly caught up with him and waited for further information. — Generally, they went to their old home and were clever enough to steal some scooter.
Uzumaki smiled to himself in a strange intention. They stood at the counter and reached for the trays. They began to put food for themselves while talking to their colleagues who caught them. However, they arrived at the table alone and settled down comfortably, took off their jackets and sweatshirts, and began to devour their portions.
— When I hung in the helicopter over the building, the kids ran out in front of him. Several biologists went inside and led out a woman. A healthy woman. - Uzumaki dug his teeth into a dumpling, stuffed with meat, stuffed on a fork, and froze in that position, watching a friend take a sip of tea. — This is their mother. Maybe they acted stupidly, but they saved her life in this way. She's totally wild, she's going to spend many hours at the psychiatrist, but to recover her parent, when you were probably certain she's dead?
— They must be happy... - whispered the boy, putting the fork on an empty plastic plate. He drank his hot coffee and narrowed his eyes as he hung his absent gaze on the empty table next to him. — Those kids, it supposedly they are kids of this whole Tenzou. Friendly type, I remember how once drunk in the bar lamented after losing his wife. Also probably go crazy with happiness, as he becomes aware of what took place.
Hatake smiled as he watched, standing near Naruto, a guy. He does not like him, and it happened that they landed on this mission together. He felt, however, superiority over his enemy, who more than once jumped up with his paws and ended as the victim every time. The gray-haired man was having more and more fun, but lately he stopped being so brave and avoided him effectively.
His gaze, however, ran from the disliked, to the girl who emerged from behind the wall. She had long, slender legs with dark jeans on them. Black shoes, jackboots – matched with a color to a boxer with an unbuttoned military jacket on. There was a dog tag between her breasts, and she held a file of papers in her hands. It was only when he looked at her restless, scared face and bright pink hair that he associated her with some night time story from Uzumaki. He smiled at his friend, wanting to let him know that the girl would pass their table, but he closed his eyes and clearly wanted to yawn. Everything would be fine, if it were not for the fact that the blond suddenly, violently spread his arms, thus striking the woman. The papers fell apart, and the pink-haired beauty stumbled backwards. At the last moment she regained her balance and opened her lips, seeing her papers adorn several square meters of the floor.
— What the... - said Naruto, not hiding his nervousness. He turned his eyes to the intruder and stopped them in her luscious green eyes. His arms fell, same the lower jaw.
The girl was gathering her thoughts, still not moving, and Uzumaki strongly turned red. Kakashi pursed his lips and aimed him under the table an incredibly strong kick to make him return to the ground.
— OOWWW! - he howled, at the same time conquering the table top with his knee.
— No... - she whispered finally. — No, no, no! I am in a hurry!
Gray-haired had the impression that she did not pay any attention to them at all. She dropped to her knees and began to squeeze the papers energetically. He rolled his eyes when Naruto finally jumped off the chair and began to help her. He himself grabbed their empty trays and walked away to put them in the right place.
— I'm so sorry - the boy mumbled as he pulled out the papers from one of the tables. — I did not know you were going. It was really uninten…
— Stop it! - she interrupted him, looking at one side, then the other. She clearly wanted to sort them in some numerical or alphabetical way, but her resigned face indicated that it would take forever. She blew upwards, letting her hair out of her eyes and digging through the white rectangles. — I also did not pay attention, the fault lies on both sides.
She did not look at him even once when he looked at her all the time. When he heard her melodious warm voice, he stopped moving, only sat on his calves. He held several sheets of paper in his hand, which she quickly snatched from him.
— Listen, if you want to help me - she stopped when she finally looked at him. Tousled blond hair fell gently on the forehead. Blue eyes spurted with energy and sympathy, and the smile that appeared after a while made her feel a strange numbness in her entire body. The black T-shirt looked good on the strong arms and stomach. — Cute - she whispered silently, not controlling herself. She felt her cheeks blushing, and her eyes begin to pinch without blinking.
— Pardon? - He bent his ear to her, squinting at the same time.At the same moment, she stepped back slightly. She shook her head and began collecting the papers again, at an even faster pace.
— Shimura will kill me - she said, standing on her feet. The boy handed her the last, three papers while straightening in front of her. He was taller by the head and looked down on her.
— You work for this asshole? - he muttered, scratching his neck. The girl chewed her lower lip, seeing his bicep tight.
— He rules us all - she murmured, dropping her gaze to the floor. — I have to go... Really, I have to go.
He knew it, but he did not want it. Without a word, she passed him, pressing the papers to her chest and rushing forward. Kakashi stood behind a younger friend and watched the receding girl as carefully as the blond man. Going... Or rather, almost running, she turned back twice more to find him with her eyes. Blue eyes could not break away from her.
— She is beautiful - he moaned.
— I will not deny - the gray-haired replied, putting on his blouse.
— Did you see her eyes?! - he snorted, turning to Hatake. — Juicy, so... Green…
— I saw, I saw - he laughed, pulling the zipper up to the neck.
— And her voice... - Uzumaki tried to put on a blouse in an inept fashion.
— Shut up already, Naruto - he said, walking toward the door through which they got here. — Keep your fantasies to yourself, okay?
— When I like to talk openly about my feelings - he murmured, catching up with him.
— You talk about everything too openly - he snorted.
— Oh noooo! - He stopped in place. — We said we will forget about it, man! - he shouted, spreading his arms helplessly.
— Such things are not forgotten!

Scream. Only that was possible to hear in the medical wing. Kurenai did not stop screaming. She was still in some insane amok, afraid of everything she looked at. She was stripped naked and thrown under the shower, which was surrounded by makeshift plastic walls. She was poured with hot water, and a woman, dressed in a plastic overall, scrubbed her inattentively with a sponge. They sprayed her body with disinfectants and were poured with another liter of water.
— Leave me! - she cried. She screamed, writhed in pain and begged to not touch her. She tried to break free, but the paramedics did not allow it. They could not.
She finished on the bed – dressed in a regular, hospital shirt - attached with a minimum of ten stripes. There were guards with weapons in the corners of the cool room. She lay still and trembling with fear. She saw from the corner of her eye, as some medics watched her from behind the huge pane, who heatedly discussed, showing her with fingers.
Her head turned in a mechanical, rapid manner toward the door that opened. A young girl entered, whose pink hair was tied in a pony. She had a mask tied on her face, and compassion and regrets beat from her eyes.
— I apologize for all of this - she whispered, looking at the window behind which the doctors were visible, and among them the only uniformed man. Shimura could not let go of such a spectacle. — This is a routine procedure applied to the survivors.
Kurenai was still completely motionless, she followed the girl with her eyes, and her lips did not even tremble. Sakura pulled her rubber gloves on her hands, then grabbed the cannula with a large dispenser and a container that, when placed in the aforementioned handrail with a needle - drew blood in itself. She sat on a stool next to the bed and looked into the woman's eyes. She did not know exactly what to say or how to behave. All patients of this type were usually enraged and overjoyed that they managed to get to a normal civilization. This woman, however, did not show any feelings and resembled a robot in pain.
— We have not done it for a long time - she sighed finally, trying to encourage the brunette to exchange opinions in any way. — The last healthy person was found over two months ago.
Sakura did not fully believe in her own words and did not understand the situation. One of the symptoms of infection was completely red proteins. The woman who was lying in front of her now had a brown color, only her left eye. The right one was perfectly right. Her behavior was also somewhat strange.
— Can you tell me how you managed to survive this long time? - she asked uncertainty. Tenzou, however, did not answer, just looked the girl in the eye. — Maybe someone else has survived... And is waiting for help. - Kurenai however, remained in silence. — Well, in that case... I'll take a sample of your blood. It will not hurt.
After the last words, Haruno's eyes narrowed friendly. She grabbed the sleeve of the woman's left arm gently and pulled it up to tighten the strap. At the same moment, she felt her body completely numb, and all her insides turned upside down. There were evident traces of bites on the woman's shoulder. Not one, not two. A dozen or so imprinted jaws, scabs of lacerated wounds.
— Did you come in direct contact with the infected? - she asked, not letting go of her sleeve. This question also did not get any answer, only a dispassionate look.
After a moment, Tenzou's eyelids tightened, and she tensed herself, remembering everything she'd gone through so far. Completely alone. Single tears flowed from the corners of her closed eyelids.
Sakura felt Danzou look at the woman's hand from behind the glass. She knew that there was a problem facing her, and if her suspicions were successful, a civil war awaits her in which her enemy would be he.
— Well - she whispered to herself and prepared for surgery. She inserted a needle into a woman's vein, then began to take the blood she needed to the vial.
— I want to see my children - a brunette suddenly gasped, which made Sakura's body shudder.
Haruno looked at her, pulling the needle out gently. She could not imagine what this woman had gone through, and she had no idea how she had been treated.
— Of course - she replied. At the same time, she knew that perhaps it was impossible. — Of course - she repeated, nervously and energetically nodding her head.

Yamato rushed through the large courtyard, bumping his arms against other passers-by. People cursed him under his breath, but he cared little. His body trembled with fear, and thoughts grew worse on his head. From the disappearance of children, at least from the moment he noticed it - four hours have passed. He would not panic if they told him anything about where they were going. However, they did not give any indication, and the man has already visited all the possible nooks and crannies of the district.
He was just heading to the police unit to report the disappearance. The closer he got to her, the more his steps became bigger and faster. However, he stopped at a slightly higher man than him, hitting his chest with his nose. He bounced off the obstacle and grabbed his nose after a moment. He massaged him and looked at the two soldiers in front of him. A disheveled, gray-haired guy, whose look expressed nothing more than boredom, and next to him - lower by head, blond, who smiled goofy.
— I'm sorry - Yamato said and moved forward with the intention of passing uniformed men, but Kakashi stopped him, grabbing his forearm. — Something happened? I'm in a hurry.
— Mister Tenzou? - he asked, looking him straight in the eye.
— Yes - replied brown-haired.
— We found your children! - Uzumaki shouted happily, wanting the man to cheer up a little.
It gave the intended effect. Yamato moved his hand away from his face, and depression replaced relief and joy.
— Thank God. - He let out a breath of air, shaking his head. — Where were they?
— They went on a trip to your old home - murmured Hatake.
— What?! - he shouted, opening his eyes wide. — Someone took their minds?
— I was wondering about that too - sighed Kakashi.
— Where can I find them?!
— In the arrest - Uzumaki said, scratching his neck.
Yamato nodded his head in thanks, he turned in front of him, taking a few steps forward to find the kids. Again, however, he was stopped by the cold tone of a taller man.
— We also found your wife.
Tenzou stopped in place. Friends stared at his back. He turned mechanically toward them with a look that expressed a mixture of surprise, pain and fear.
